Accommodation is in bunk beds, and you will share with other like-minded
travellers in dormitory accommodation. Remember youth hostels?
Well, we are an independent version, of which there are literally hundreds
across the UK. Simple accommodation, warm comfortable bunk beds, a
common room to sit, watch TV, chat etc. Bring a bottle of wine and
chill out. For food, bring and cook your own. Breakfast is not
included in the price, but you can help yourself to whatever cereals, bread,
toast, jam, milk that we have in - just leave a donation of GB Pounds
2+. Or again, bring your own. There's a pleasant shared dining
room and you'll find most people bring their own. TV, DVD, CD player
and internet access. And free wi-fi, tea and
coffee...

During the
day, climb
Ben Nevis, walk along the canal, head to the pub
(there's two really good ones close by for food and refreshment) or head into
town for the shops. Take to the ski slopes and take a
Gondola up the
Nevis
Range to the restaurant at the top for fantastic
highland views, or take the Harry Potter train route to
Mallaig and Skye.
Come by
car, by train (nearest station 100 metres), or by bus (100m). Taxi
to/from the town centre is about £6 each way - good if there's a few of
you! Or walk along the Caledonian Canal by Neptune's
Staircase and the Great Glen
Way to Fort William (about 2
miles).
